Speaker of the House – Seein' Stars

Juicy melodies and synth overlays set a dance-friendly feel from the get-go, complemented by a repetitious hook. Low ends are subtly incorporated into the mix, transforming "Seein' Stars" into a club hit. From the nuanced fills to impeccable mixing and mastering, this is a track that should live well beyond its time in the dance world.

Cassian – Running Ft. Cleopold

Sometimes you listen to a song that just grabs you. This is one of them.. Wasting no time to get the beat going.. Once the vocals hit at about 30 seconds in, you know you're about to have a good time. I just want to listen to this while having a party on a boat. Not sure why.

JMSN – Ends (esta Remix)

Here's two of my favorite artists on this absolutely fire of a track. JMSN's silky sound with the beat treatment that is unique to esta.. This is some late night music, just hanging out.

Childish Gambino – Retro

What's there to say? Just listen to this track. There's no option but to include it here. It might be a little more well known than the other songs on this site, but my god, what a sick song.

Goldroom – Till Sunrise

Guess where I want to be? On the beach in 85 degree weather listening to this song. Palm trees, warm water, beers and cocktails in hand. I think I may have been destined to be a beach bum.

Eli & Fur – You're So High

These two girls blow me away. Give it a minute and let the beat hit, every time I listen to it I get a big grin on my face. I must have heard it 50 times and it never gets old.

Croquet Club – Breath

"Croquet Club is an electronic music initiative by Jeremy Villecourt (Paris, France, 2012) creating songs and remixes out of love." This is the chillest of the chill. One of my top 10 songs I've heard in the past year.

Thrupence – Silk

'Silk' follows 'Don't You Mind' as the second taste from Thrupence's forthcoming originals mixtape Lessons, out on limited edition paint splatter wax on November 7, 2014.

Darkly. – Touch

The UK electronic R&B scene has been blowing up lately, and here's a prime example of some unique sounds coming from over the pond. Have love song, have power ballad, this one gets a spot on Beat Potion, for sure.

Kaytranada – All We Do

OnCue – Angry Young Man

Just one more cigaretteeee... Alright, one more OnCue song. This dude. Man, Im surprised he isnt more popular than he is (he does have a ton of devout listerns, dont get me wrong). Id like to see this guy get everything he wants. Great music.

Violent Soho – Covered in Chrome

LOVE this song.. the chorus makes me want to go crazy. 'Covered in Chrome' is the second single to be taken from Violent Soho's forthcoming LP 'Hungry Ghost' - out September 6, 2013 through I OH YOU.

Seekae – The Stars Below

‘The Stars Below’ is lifted from ‘The Worry‘, Seekae’s third album. ‘The Worry’ placed in at #5 in good company on Pulse Radio’s Top 30 Albums & Compilations of 2014.

Tycho – See (Beacon Remix)

Two fantastic Ghostly artists come together on Beacon’s cosmically propulsive remix of “See” by Tycho. With the additions of a bubbly dance groove and singer Thomas Mullarney III’s soft voice, Beatportal premiered this fresh take on Tycho’s serene instrumental—both versions of which are now available as a digital single.

Childish Gambino – Sober [rough]

And now that's it's over, I'll never be sober / I couldn't believe, but now I'm so high / And now that's it's over, I'll never be sober / I couldn't believe, but now I'm so high…
